Cannes Yachting Festival is a unique international event that has been successfully held for more than 40 years, attracting yachting enthusiasts from all parts of the world, various yacht manufacturers, distributors, service providers and journalists. This year’s edition will last for six days, and among the exhibitors will be the Virtue Yachts brand, which will present its flagship boat, the Virtue V10 T-Top, during the fair.
The Cannes Fair has been held annually since 1977, always in September, in the sparkling waters of the Bay of Cannes. This prestigious event brings together participants from all over the world involved in recreational boating and is packed with demonstrations and launches of the latest boats. It is the largest industry event of its kind in Europe and has earned a reputation for being an innovative trade show with an extensive program, not to mention the technological innovations presented by manufacturers of yachting equipment and engines and services.
Located in the heart of the French Riviera, the city and bay of Cannes provide a magnificent setting for the annual Cannes Yachting Festival. This year the exhibition has been divided into two areas: Port Vieux and Port Canto.
Located in the heart of the city, from one end of the Croisette to the other, the Vieux Port is one of the oldest ports on the Côte d’Azur. More than 350 single-hull, multihull, rigid-hull or semi-rigid-hull boats on the water will be gathered in its zone. The vessels on display are the “crème de la crème” in terms of new power boats from 10 to 45 meters in length presented by top brands.
Port Canto is the second port in the city. This area will be entirely dedicated to new motor boats, with 140 boats over 8 meters in length presented on the water (this is new to the show), and 30 vessels up to 8 meters in length will be exhibited on land. Port Canto also has a new marina dedicated to power boats ≤ 12-13 meters, as well as a brokerage & toys area.
The Virtue Yachts team will also be at the Cannes show, along with one of its distributors for the French market, Hica Boats brand. During the event, the Virtue Yachts crew will showcase the well-received Virtue V10 T-Top model, which impressed boat reviewers in open water test cruises.
