A few days ago, the Finnish boating portal Totalvene posted a review of the latest boat from Virtue Yachts – the V10 Cabin model – on their YouTube channel. Curious about how it performed in testing? Want to know what caught the reviewers’ attention? Here’s our summary of the tests that took place this spring on Finnish waters.

Review of the Virtue V10 Cabin
The Virtue V10 Cabin is a new model from Polish brand Virtue Yachts in the Finnish market. It was first shown in Finland in February at the Vene 2025 boat show. As Totalvene.fi editor Jan Sjolund points out, the boat stands out with its modern design featuring a wedge-shaped cabin. It combines the functionality of both walk-around and walk-through layouts, with sliding side doors leading to the cabin.

Looking at the technical details, what deserves special mention is that the boat can be equipped with either one 300 HP engine or two engines (2×225 HP V6 or 2×300 HP V8). The Totalvene test boat had two Mercury V6 engines with 225 HP each, reaching speeds up to 47 knots.
Getting almost 50 knots with that kind of fuel efficiency from gas engines is really impressive.
Boat layout and equipment
The Finnish reviewer was definitely impressed by the spacious, customizable stern deck with fold-out side terraces that increase the usable space. You can see that the cabin serves as a sheltered living area with dining space and passenger areas during cruising.
The bow cabin features a triangular double bed, two large windows, and a separate toilet compartment. The main cabin area has an electrically opening glass roof.

Innovative Petestep hull
In the review, the journalist also notes that Virtue Yachts boats use Petestep hull technology, designed for comfort, performance, and economy. Fuel consumption comes in under 2 liters per nautical mile at speeds of 25-30 knots. This is definitely successful optimization and a real convenience.
Totalvene reviewer’s concerns
What worries the reviewer is that while the boat handles well and the hull cuts through waves smoothly, careless throttle operation on turns could cause the stern to slip and the bow to drop. The second concern is noise level, which is moderate at cruising speeds (around 75 decibels) but can be more noticeable when hitting waves.
The well-thought-out Virtue V10 Cabin
However, when you look at it overall, the Virtue V10 Cabin model stands out from the crowd of cabin cruisers – and not just because of its price. It’s a fast and definitely attractive boat in its class, with many practical features plus some surprises and unexpected elements in both its looks and capabilities.
