Our latest model of boat, the Virtue V10 Cabin, premiered at the Boot Dusseldorf 2025 trade show in January and has been arousing the curiosity of the trade media ever since. A few days ago, the Italian portal Press Mare Italia shared its thoughts on our novelty and presented the results of tests held in Poland in the fall. What can we expect from the V10 Cabin model?
The Virtue V10 Cabin boat was created specifically to meet the needs of people who use the boat all year round, even in very adverse climates. This is the first boat of its kind in the Virtue Yachts family, and this fact alone has piqued the curiosity of boat enthusiasts. James Juliet of Press Mare Italia took a close look at its parameters and capabilities, highlighting its technological solutions above all in his review.
Virtue V10 Cabin – key advantages
A big plus point is the use of the Swedish Petestep hull, which does a great job of reducing friction and making navigation more comfortable, James Juliet points out, due to the water splash being directed backwards, not sideways.
Another point is the boat’s performance, which definitely impressed the reviewer (2 x 300 hp Mercury Verados engine). During tests on a Polish lake, where conditions were moderate, the Virtue V10 Cabin handled flawlessly, reaching a top speed of 49.9 knots and being in optimized trim.
Masterful performance and cruising comfort
As the reviewer from Press Mare Italia points out, our 10-meter yacht is a masterful combination of the comfort of a larger vessel with the dynamics of a compact sportfisher. Indeed, the spacious cabin evokes the illusion of a much larger boat, but it is the maneuverability and responsiveness that make it a true sprinter in its class.
Thoughtful interior design allows for quick adaptation of space – folding pilot seats create a comfortable dinette, and a sliding Webasto glass roof opens the cabin for summer adventures.
The boat is equipped with the necessary navigational lights on the mast, as well as an efficient heating and air-conditioning system, ensuring comfort both in the cool climate of northern Europe and during the southern heat. On the outside, comfortable lounging areas have been placed – a sofa at the bow and an aft seat, protected by folding bulwarks for the full safety of the crew.
Also noteworthy is the unique access system to the forward cabin area, utilizing side platforms accessible through openings on both sides of the hull, allowing free movement around the deck. The redesigned helm console also offers more space between the seat and helm, providing comfortable handling even for more upright helmsmen.
Virtue Yachts is all about experience
As James Juliet points out, behind such a well-thought-out design must be an experienced shipbuilding team that skillfully combines years of experience with an innovative approach to modern boatbuilding. It is this combination of tradition and modernity that makes this vessel a unique proposition in the market for yachts of this class.
The Virtue V10 Cabin appears to be a boat that has all the qualities to fascinate sailors who sail in northern latitudes, as well as those who are in southern regions and are looking for a vehicle suitable for year-round trips.
