A legendary event
This legendary event, first held in 1977 under the name Salon de la Navigation de Plaisance, is now entering its 49th edition. Over nearly five decades, it has established its position as one of Europe’s largest and most prestigious in-water boat shows. Bringing together hundreds of top international exhibitors and the world’s newest vessels, this event sets the official start to the global autumn boat show calendar.

Two historic ports, one unparalleled stage
What sets Cannes apart from any other event in the world is its breathtaking double-location setup along famous La Croisette. The festival takes place in the Riviera’s two most famous ports, each bringing its own unique atmosphere to the event:
- Vieux Port: a historic, bustling hub of motor yachting, filled with impressive luxury yachts, state-of-the-art technology, and world premieres from leading shipyards.
- Port Canto: a sophisticated setting dedicated to sailing yachts, catamarans (including multihulls), pre-owned brokerage vessels, and marine toys.
To ensure seamless travel between the two ports, regular water shuttles and land transport operate continuously. With special options including luxury services for visitors and VIP guests, attendees can easily experience the best of modern travel both on land and on the water.
